Nancy Bauer has a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in music education with a primary performance area of organ from Bethany College and a Master’s of Music degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.

Nancy has played for churches since the age of 15. She studied with various teachers in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas. While her husband was at seminary. she was one of the organists for Wartburg Theological Seminary chapel. She also accompanies students for solo and ensemble contest, teaches private piano and sings in the Bethany Oratorio Society.

Elise Nelson grew up in Lindsborg and  graduated from Bethany College with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. Elise has continued their interest in music by working with piano, violin, and voice students through local music studios and Bethany College as well as their own private studio. Elise shares their love of music by being involved in choir groups in Lindsborg and Salina, leading handbells at Christ Cathedral, and playing in local string groups.

Elise joins Bradyn Houltberg in leading the Christ Cathedral Choir under the direction of Nancy Bauer.

Bradyn Houltberg is a very active soloist and teacher, collaborating with choirs and the local community theatre for many different events. She is an elementary music teacher at St Mary’s Grade School. She graduated from Kansas Wesleyan University in 2023.Bradyn has performed in many community theatre productions at the Theatre Salina. She teaches Stage Door 1 and directs CTA productions. On the side, she teaches vocal lessons to an arrange of students and sings for various events/groups in town. 

Bradyn joins Elise Nelson under the leadership of Nancy Bauer to lead the Christ Cathedral Choir.
